We are the Hallo Welt! GmbH, a worldwide leading provider and consultant for MediaWiki solutions.

Our company is located in the historic city of Regensburg in Germany.

Hallo Welt! was founded to make the technology and concepts of Wikipedia available to companies.

MediaWiki is the software of Wikipedia and the most used wiki software in the world – including companies. As an enterprise you need professional services and a continuous development of business-critical functions.

Therefore, since 2007 we have been building enterprise solutions for MediaWiki, integrating extensions and developing new functions: From the first VisualEditor for MediaWiki to the integration of search engines and development of team functions to the delivery of the software in containers. Since 2010 we have been developing the wiki software BlueSpice with a growing team of more than 20 employees.

Integrated in a powerful eco-system

We come from the Bavarian city of Regensburg and have been working together with international organisations since the very beginning. Since then, many companies from all industries and of all sizes have joined us. BlueSpice has developed a lively customer community.

Our practical experience and expertise are the basis for our high quality services. The basis, however, is also the close cooperation with and within the various MediaWiki communities and also with Wikimedia, the organization behind Wikipedia. Open Source and free knowledge are not a marketing label for us, but a condition for real cooperation, for the development of new ideas and standards.
