Galaxy is a knowledge universe: At its heart lies a central wiki—the entry point and shared foundation. From there, additional knowledge spaces branch out: sub-wikis for teams, projects, products, or processes.

New Framework for Metadata and Structure

Migrate from Confluence to BlueSpice

Roadmap to the Universe of Knowledge

Galaxy is a major step forward: new architecture, new knowledge spaces, and a new metadata foundation. This means change, but we’re making the transition as predictable as possible. With migration tools, clear transition paths, familiar user guidance, and minimal training requirements.

BlueSpice 5 remains the stable foundation for existing customers—Galaxy is the future, which will unfold step by step.

BlueSpice 5.1 LTS will be supported with bug fixes and security updates until the end of 2027.

The first alpha and beta versions of BlueSpice Galaxy will be released in Q2.

In June, we will be unveiling Galaxy to the public for the first time at GITEX Berlin.

The phase-out of BlueSpice 5 will begin in the cloud at the end of 2026, followed shortly thereafter by the on-premises version.

Existing customers can plan their transition flexibly for 2027—they decide the timing and scope themselves.

BlueSpice Galaxy is our next step: a knowledge universe that brings order, provides guidance, and makes organizations smarter.
