What’s new in BlueSpice 4.5?

AI Assistant – even more power in the wiki

Are you lost for words? The AI Assistant in BlueSpice helps you reach your goal faster. Create, shorten, lengthen or improve texts in your company wiki with its help. Or have long content summarized to the most important information and save valuable time in your daily work. Use the AI Assistant securely with your company’s own API key.

CollabPad – edit content simultaneously

Use the new CollabPad to edit a wiki page together and simultaneously with your team colleagues. Watch all changes made in real time. Invite other colleagues during the editing process. This allows you to efficiently create logs, overview lists or documentation, for example.

Bookmaker – more beautiful than ever

The popular bookmaker gets a complete facelift with BlueSpice 4.5 – including new functions and improvements. Organize your books on the bookshelf even more conveniently and clearly. Easily create books, edit them and add wiki pages to one or more books. Just as you like.

Notifications – always stay up to date

Don’t miss any changes. Keep track of important information in the company wiki with the new notification system in BlueSpice. Be informed in the wiki or via email whenever changes are made to your important content.

New page and file overview

The overviews of all pages and files have been redesigned so that you can find what you are looking for more quickly. The page view shows all namespaces, superpages and subpages in alphabetical order. The view of all files offers a table view and a tile view. Both offer filter options.

Further improvements

BlueSpice 4.5 offers even more improvements such as:

  • Workflows Visual Editor: Custom workflows can now be created not only via XML, but also conveniently via the visual bpmn.io editor using drag & drop.
  • OAuth standard: Authenticate your wiki now also with OAuth for various web APIs. This makes integration into other systems easier.
  • TableTools: Tables can now be provided with a header row that is “sticky”, meaning that it always remains visible at the top of long tables.
  • NumberHeadings: Headings and tables of contents can be numbered consecutively and hierarchically on all pages.
  • VisualEditorPlus: Now you can also use unicode emojis and shortcuts for formatting (italics, strikethrough, code)
