You don’t have to worry about anything: Basically, all updates are continuously applied to your cloud systems.
If an upgrade, i.e. a major version jump, is due, we will only implement it after consultation and a clear order from you, so that your users are not surprised by a new look & feel. We make sure that major version jumps are possible for you without any problems.
Data backups are created daily. They are kept on an encrypted block storage at Hetzner Online and stored for at least one week.
Of course. After a cancellation, we provide you with a database dump for download for eight weeks. Only then will your data be permanently deleted.

No. The customer does not have direct access to the server.
Hallo Welt! service providers do not have access to the data in the cloud at any time. However, as the operator of the cloud, Hallo Welt! must be able to ensure trouble-free operation of the cloud infrastructure and the customer instances on a permanent basis. To do this, it may be necessary to connect to the servers. However, this is only possible for a very small group of employees. These employees are specially trained and are subject to strict confidentiality requirements.
The BlueSpice cloud services are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. The data residences are Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany.
Frankfurt is currently the only available data residence. More are planned in the future.
BlueSpice pro Cloud offers an overall availability of 99.9%. The calculation of the total availability can be found in the subscription agreement in §9 Cloud Services.
Basically, we make sure that you have sufficient capacity for your wiki in each case: Space on your hard drive, enough room for your traffic, and your hardware usage (processors and memory). The amount available to you increases with the number of users booked. You can find the current information here.

In our cloud systems, access via HTTPS is a standard. If you want to use your own domain for the cloud instance, you need your own certificate. We will assist you in configuring the system accordingly.
