On Premises
Your wiki. On your servers. Hosted by you.
BlueSpice also comes to your home. There you host BlueSpice according to your own security requirements.
How to use your home field advantage
BlueSpice’s On Premises solution comes into play when they do not want or are not allowed to host their enterprise software in the cloud. Another argument could be that you want to customize and extend your local installation.
In this case we deliver BlueSpice pro or farm on the basis of our subscription contract. We support you with the installation, configuration and everything else you need.
Or do they already have a highly experienced IT team? We make you fit to take over the administration yourself and are ready with our services for more in-depth questions.
Well played!
On Premises customers take advantage of their leeway.

Possible deployments
Four types of installation are possible on premises
Classic server installation
Most of our customers run their BlueSpice on their own servers (Windows or Linux) as a classic server installation. The customer provides a server on which BlueSpice is to be installed. The installation and updates are done either by us or the customer or a service provider of the customer. Read more about our installation services.
BlueSpice in a Docker image
Docker is a containerization technology that enables the creation and operation of Linux containers. With a Docker image, they combine the stability promise of the cloud with the data security of an in-house solution by creating and updating the BlueSpice server according to a predefined concept. The prerequisite is that the use of Docker is possible in their IT environment. Due to the highly standardized system environment in the Docker image, updates provided by us can be automated and continuously applied.
By the way, you can find BlueSpice free on Docker Hub.
BlueSpice in a virtual machine
On request, we can pre-configure a complete virtual – i.e. hardware-independent – server for you, which you can then use in your IT environment. The prerequisite for this is that you already have a virtual machine environment in use. We recommend VMWare ESXi (vSphere). Other platforms are possible on request.
BlueSpice in a distributed architecture
For simple scaling, some services can be externalized to other physical or virtual servers. For high data traffic or high availability requirements, BlueSpice can also be set up for horizontal scaling (with load balancers and multiple web front-end servers). However, running BlueSpice in a distributed architecture requires an IT department with experience and resources.
